Purchase new scaffold putlog couplers from our shop; they are made from pressed steel and are an extremely lightweight fitting weighing only 0.4kg. They can be fixed to the end of a 48.3mm diameter scaffold tube and converted into “putlog tubes”, which is typically used when erecting scaffolding structures for new build projects or progressive site work. They are hardwearing, straightforward, and have a special zinc coating to increase the adaptor’s life span.

Slide the putlog adaptor onto the end of a 5ft scaffolding tube and fasten it by turning the screw that tightens the adaptor securely against the pole.
They are mainly fixed to a 5ft length with a diameter of 48.3mm when creating a builders scaffold. Once connected, they then become known as a scaffold putlog.
Putlogs are generally used for progressive new build structures, commonly known as bricklayers scaffolds or single and putlog scaffolds, which are part of the new build. The correct way to use this item is for the putlogs to be laid on top of the progressively built brickwork or blockwork; then, the bricks or blocks are cemented on top of the putlogs. However, if this is not possible, a hole should be made between the cement on existing brickwork for the putlog to be fixed into; once connected to the brickwork, the building can begin, making a putlog scaffold just as safe as free-standing scaffolds. This framework is recommended for ordinary building projects but not for complicated structures.
